West of England Bus Passenger Charter

The Big Lemon is delighted to announce that we are now signatories to the West of England Bus Passenger Charter.

This is a collaborative framework established under the Transport Act 2000. Its main purpose is to improve bus services in the West of England region by defining obligations and standards for local authorities and bus operators. This includes provisions for facilities, operational requirements, and governance arrangements, aiming to enhance the overall efficiency, reliability, and quality of the public transport system in the region.

If you’re interested and would like to know more about it, here is the link to the charter: https://thebiglemon.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/West-of-England-EP-Scheme-V4.0-September-2023-updated.pdf

As well as excellent rates of pay, a welcome bonus and free membership of the Transport Benevolent Fund, we offer the opportunity to work in a small family team where everyone is a name, not a number; and we all work together to do our best for our colleagues and for the community.
