We’re coming to Bristol!

The Big Lemon is coming to Bristol!

The Big Lemon is delighted to confirm that we have applied to the Traffic Commissioner for a licence to operate in the West of England and subject to that licence being granted we will be running four services in Bristol from Monday 3rd October.

The Big Lemon is passionate about providing an excellent passenger experience on the buses and excited by the opportunity to launch in Bristol.  Our drivers in Brighton are famous for the friendly and helpful service they provide, and we are really looking forward to bringing the same ethos to our services in Bristol.

The Big Lemon is working with the local transport authority, the West of England Combined Authority, to provide services on routes 505 (Long Ashton Park and Ride to Southmead), 506 (Broadmead to Southmead), 515 (Imperial Park to Stockwood) and 516 (Broad Walk to Hengrove Park).

Fares will be in line with the requirements of the Combined Authority and will be announced prior to launch of the services. Multi-operator Rider tickets will be accepted.

Bus Drivers Wanted!

We’re recruiting!

The Big Lemon is looking for qualified PSV drivers to drive routes 505, 506, 515 and 516. As well as excellent rates of pay, a welcome bonus and free membership of the Transport Benevolent Fund, we offer the opportunity to work in a small family team where everyone is a name, not a number; and we all work together to do our best for our colleagues and for the community.

If this sounds like something you’d like more info on, please fill in the form below 🙂
