Route 2V is a new service which started on Monday 8 April 2024. It connects the villages of Paulton, Radford, Timsbury, Camerton and Tunley with Tesco (Old Mills), Midsomer Norton and Radstock; and with Bath via Odd Down Park & Ride.
The new service is being run in partnership with Paulton Parish Council and has been made possible with funding from WestLocal. It operates the same timetable Mondays to Saturdays (excluding Bank Holidays). Funding is guaranteed for two years, during which time we aim to embed the service and explore ways of continuing it for the long term.
The service is operated with low-floor minibuses, and all vehicles used carry WestLocal branding and are fully wheelchair accessible. Fares are in line with our standard Bath fares, and OAP and disabled concessionary bus passes are valid on all services after 9am. Passengers can also purchase and use the full range of Rider tickets on the bus for connecting bus services on the Rider network. Cash is accepted on all services, as well as contactless.
