We welcome you on board our day trip to the historic Arundel Castle & Gardens. A much treasured attraction, Arundel Castle in West Sussex is one of England’s largest complete and inhabited castles, nestled amongst 40 acres of stunning grounds and gardens.
Founded in 1067 by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Arundel, the Castle now serves as the ancestral seat and family home of the 18th Duke of Norfolk, the Earl Marshal of England.
Rooted in more than a millennium of history, Arundel Castle offers a full and engaging day out for young and not so young alike. Visitors can enjoy pre-booked guided tours or independent free-flow visits, taking in the Castle’s carefully preserved rooms, from the Armoury and Barons’ Hall through to the beautiful Regency library.
Green-fingered visitors can bask in Arundel Castle’s dazzling walled gardens, including The Collector Earl’s Garden, officially opened by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2008, functional Organic Kitchen Garden, sweetly-scented Rose Garden and the highly acclaimed Stumpery.
